Remastered version of the hit spin-off

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a premium action game from Insomniac Games, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. In the remastering of the hit 2020 spin-off, you get to play one of the most popular incarnations of the web-slinging superhero. As Miles Morales, you get to experience the same engaging story of the young African-American youth taking up the Spider-Man mantle and facing a familiar rogues gallery.

Step into Miles’ shoes as Spidey

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a remaster of the 2020 game of the same title, released together with the remaster of the 2018 trailblazing Spider-Man game from Insomniac Games. As such, it lifts the same storyline as its original version. As the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales is still coming to terms with his new alter-ego while protecting his home of Harlem from the Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Underground.

However, this version gives a lot of incentive for returning to the Miles Morales spin-off. For starters, it further improves the already breathtaking video and audio. New textures are applied and the original soundtrack is now available in higher bitrates, making the experience even more immersive. Additionally, you can transfer your progress from PlayStation4 to Windows. This version also features two new costumes on top of all previously existing suits.

If you’re a fan of the Spider-Man franchise, then you’re already aware of the new powers and the unique yet familiar story of the Miles Morales spinoff. The remaster doesn’t add new powers or story materials, but you still can enjoy them in improved graphics—provided your saved file is not yet at 100% completion. However, these improvements mean that the system requirements have also significantly increased.

Improving an already great game

For those who’ve played the Insomniac Spider-Man titles, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a great reason to return. If you haven’t played it yet, go straight to its upgraded version. Upgraded visuals, better audio, and the option to transfer all your progress from the original release to the remastered one. It’s quite difficult to believe how a remaster can bring so much content just two years after the original. Highly recommended.
