SpCam is a simple and powerful application allowing you to track any motion and sound that happens in the room when you are out. To reduce disk space requirements SpCam record video and sound only when motion or noise happens. Besides, H.264 codec is used to encode output video stream that makes the result files tinier.

Since version 1.1.2, you can also make a screenshots of your desktop when any changes occurs in it, so you can now see not only who was near your computer but also what has he done

Application has built-in face detection module allowing you to record only video with face in frame.

For more sophisticated face detection you can make application to use face.com online API. It can distinguish gender, mood and some other traits of each face.
