SoundTaxi Media Suite 7.9.4

This collection of programs allows you to perform different media tasks. It consists of five different programs. The first one lets you convert audio and video files into different formats, the second lets you copy and convert DVD files, the third is an online video downloader, the fourth lets you download music from the Internet, and the last one allows you to stream or download tracks from Web radio.

Having all these programs in a single suite may sound as a good idea. Nevertheless, I found several issues with some of the applications. For example, the video downloader needed to be updated and did not download anything. Also, when searching for music to download with the corresponding application, it didn't find any song, although I searched very popular terms, such as "Madonna" and "rock and roll". And last but not least, I wasn't able to listen to, much less record, many of the radio stations listed in the radio recording program. I don't know if these drawbacks are related to the fact that I used the trial version; nevertheless, I've tried many other programs and never found limitations such as these.

As for the file converter, the trial version only lets you convert up to 3 minutes of each file. Also, the program shows a "nag screen" every now and then. If you want to get rid of these limitations, then you will need to purchase a license.
