SoundsLike is a set of two main functions used to generate phonetic keys or indexes to be used in searches to match words and phrases with similar phonetic spellings. It is available for Omnis Classic and Omnis Studio running on Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, and Windows 98 through XP. The source code has been updated and a Mac OS X native extension has been added, but no changes were made to the phonetic index functions.
