Sick of the default alert sounds that came with your Mac? We are too. This Prefpane will allow you to randomize the beep, each time it occurs. You can also insert your own sounds to the mix. Everytime your system throws an alert beep at you, you'll be welcomed with a randomly picked sound effect instead. Sound Shuffler has two sound playing engines. One uses QuickTime to do the work, which means you can replace your system beep with any format sound that QuickTime supports. Examples are AIFF, MP3, WAV (Windows format), etc. The other engine is an updated version of the one used with the original Sound What's New
