The Sorting by Category program allows users to sort words into related categories. The screen is divided into two or three columns, each with a button corresponding to a category. The user is presented with a word that belongs to one of the categories and must press the appropriate button to place it in the column. Performance is recorded and reports, including user response times, are printed. The categories include: Bookkeeping & Cataloging, Cooking, Entertainment, Healthcare & Fitness, Religion & Astrology, Shopping, Sports, Travel, and Weather.
