SnowFox DVD & Video 1.9.5

SnowFox DVD & Video to iPad Converter is a ripper and converter all in one. You can use this app to convert your DVD movies to formats that your iPad can play natively or to convert other video files that are not supported by the iPad to formats that play nice with it. The supported output formats are H.264 and MOV for video and AAC and MP3 for audio. I don't often see one of this apps that doesn't support MPEG-4. There are only two conversion profiles, one of which uses 720x480 for resolution, and another for 720p videos.

Both the DVD ripper and the video converter can be accessed from the main window. To start a video conversion, you simply need to use the load button to add a video file, and if you want to start ripping a DVD, click on the button with a DVD disk on it. From there on, the processes are different, but really intuitive and easy to complete.

This app has a very clean graphical user interface. It is mostly grey with hints of blue in the buttons. At the bottom of the screen, you will find the subtitle and audio options and the output path options. On the left, you will see the video player and the conversion settings.
