Smart Video Creator is just as bad as you would expect from looking at its extremely ugly interface and constant, intrusive adverts.
Video creation and editing on smartphones has come on leaps and bounds in recent years. Unfortunately Smart Video Creator has not kept up with these advancements. The feature set is extremely basic (and frequently doesn't work). What it can do is string images together to create a basic video while allowing you to shoot footage on your phone. It says it has a feature to convert video into different formats, but this has never worked - just like the trimming feature.
If you'd like to add a watermark to your video you can do so (the watermark needs to be an image on your phone), while you can also watch any videos you have on your phone from within the app. Several features in Smart Video Creator are apparently still in beta testing as well.
Smart Video Creator boasts an extremely ugly user interface with adverts squeezed in wherever and whenever possible. The overall user experience is horrendous. In theory it's a pretty easy to use app, with one main interface displaying a series of video shooting or editing options. Unfortunately, not all of these features work.
Given that there are now some great apps to film and edit videos there is no reason for you to download the monstrosity that is Smart Video Creator.
