Back in the days, if you unintentionally deleted files from your hard drive or USB stick, there were very small chances to recover the lost documents. Nowadays, you can find plenty of solutions for this problem. For instance, you could try Smart NTFS Recovery.
Although it's not the best because of its lack of scan settings, this program managed to restore all deleted documents. For deeper scans, I opted for the Extended Mode which took a bit longer but recovered every lost file from the formatted drives.
The program definitely gets a plus for the fact that it supports file recovery for so many types of devices, from hard drives and memory cards to digital camera cards and flash drives. Adding to that, if you wish to restore files with a particular extension, you can select the format before the scan begins.
A quite disappointing aspect of using this application was the lack of time-saving features like the ability to scan a certain folder or to preview files before to start restoring process.
To conclude, I was happy with the performance of Smart NTFS Recovery, even though it took a while to perform extended scans. I got the results I needed and the price for the application was more than fair. So, I safely recommend you to give this program a try.
