Losing important files from my flash drives because of accidental deletions used to be a common problem, especially when I had to share the same storage device with my co-workers. One solution came from Smart Flash Recovery, a small program that successfully restored the documents I needed.
A good thing about this application is that you don't need much experience in handling this sort of programs. Your only job will be to select the device you wish to scan for deleted files and choose the file extension to narrow down the results.
Another relevant advantage of using Smart Flash Recovery is that it supports file recovery for a wide range of storage devices, from flash drives and USB sticks to multimedia and digital camera cards.
My biggest concern lies on the fact that you don't get access to more advanced settings. This aspect might prove to be quite unpleasant; for instance, you can't select individual folders within your flash drive and scan them for deleted files. In addition, you can't preview the results before restoring them.
Despite its lack of settings, I believe that acquiring Smart Flash Recovery can be beneficial, due to its accurate results.
