Skype5Hack (was DeDock Skype) was designed to allow users to hide the dock icon while Skype was running. Previously it has been impossible to do this because it would cause skype to crash or not let the user login. What Skype5Hack introduces to this is that it can now act as the menubar icon menu for both skype 2 and skype 5. This will allow you to set your status, and be able to access the contact list window on both versions.This is not supported by Skype and was created to bring back 2.8 functionality to the version 5 release.
