Sketchode 2 is a utility that enables you to analyze and export the elements of the design projects you create in the Sketch application. With its help, you can optimize the development of mobile and desktop apps in your team as it lets a developer inspect and export every object that's being included in the project created by a graphic designer.
The program provides you with detailed information about every element from the imported Sketch project. You can copy the offered details to your clipboard and paste them in other third-party tools. The app also enables you to export any project object to your local folders as a JPG, PNG, TIFF or PDF file.
An important advantage is that Sketchode 2 preserves the quality of the design materials. By doing so, the original design of the Sketch project remains unchanged.
Other useful features include the new option to import projects from Google Drive and Dropbox, the integration of the Jira service (for bug and issue tracking), and the ability to identify color codes.
However, a built-in help guide wouldn't hurt. In my testing, I had problems exporting the elements of the imported project. After searching a while for a way to export elements, I noticed that you first need to click over the "+" button and then choose the data export method (Export Imageset, Export or Export With Slice).
In conclusion, Sketchode 2 proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac tools if you're the type of app developer who wants to easily get access to the elements of a design project created in Sketch.
