ShutDown Plus is an old application that allows you to shut down a computer with an old operating system running like Windows NT, 98, 2000, and XP, with a click of a button. The application sits silently in the system tray and allows you to control everything from there. Apart from the possibility of adding shortcuts to certain functions like shutdown, restart, hibernate, log off, etc., to execute a task with the click of a button, the program has nothing that the new Windows versions don´t have already. From the system tray menu, you will be able to shutdown the system, restart it, log off user, activate suspend mode, activate hibernation mode, and lock workstation very easily.
What is more, the program features an old-looking and not really attractive user interface, although it is very intuitive and easy to use.
In short, I'd say that ShutDown Plus is a rather obsolete application that will only work if you have a very old computer with an old operating system, which nowadays is a bit uncommon.
