Adding a new note is done easily, directly from the main window. Yet, adding links can be done exclusively from Preferences, though a dedicated button placed next to each category on the drop-down menu would have been more convenient. You can save as many links as you want for apps and websites, but the Quick Notes and the Folders & Files sections support only two entries.
