Sean’s Magic Slate is an entertaining coloring book that was created especially for children of young ages. This small program will help them develop and improve their creativity by offering various background images, which they can color. Moreover, the application offers a library of various objects that can be added to the background.
I admit I had a lot of fun while testing this particular program. It lets you select from a gallery of images containing “line art”, choose the desired colors in order to fill various objects in the picture. Since it’s dedicated to children, the graphical user-interface of Sean’s Magic Slate was designed to be intuitive an easy to use. Though, I didn't like that it cannot be resized. I consider this to be a drawback for the program. Also, it would have been useful if the program offered access to at least basic settings.
As a conclusion, I consider Sean’s Magic Slate to be a captivating application that will keep your children busy for some hours. It will help them exercise their creativity in an amusing manner.
