ScreenDimmer is an OS X utility for adjusting the brightness of up to three monitors independently. It provides an intuitive slider and key shortcuts for easy control of brightness.

Configure hotkeys through the help menu. Defaults are as follow....
cmd-option-ctrl + enter : toggle overlay
cmd-option-ctrl + ] : increase brightness
cmd-option-ctrl + [ : decrease brightness
