SatTrackerBasic is designed for real-world prediction of satellite ground tracks. It is highly accurate and, with fresh sets of orbital elements downloaded from within the application, it will keep that accuracy indefinitely. SatTrackerBasic also displays global cloud cover on a daily or (in some cases) a three-hourly basis.

This version is updated for 64 bits and macOS 10.14 (Mojave) compatibility. It implements an update to the newest version of SQL Lite (used for satellite and ground station databases). The new categories of satellite listed on the CelesTrak website are also included (though these are mainly a way of grouping satellites).
