RSS Bandit is an open-source RSS feeds reader that is also able to handle Atom feeds and newsgroup subscriptions. In addition to this, you can use the program to download various podcasts which you can listen to directly from your computer. It works well even on old computers and does not require a lot of RAM.
RSS Bandit will be very appreciated by any enthusiastic blogs reader, as it quickly provides them with new posts from blogs they subscribed to. Moreover, I personally enjoyed that it lets you synchronize your feeds with the popular Google Reader and even with Facebook.
The thing I appreciated the most about RSS Bandit is that delivers content in a fast manner. The integrated search tool allows you to use various filters in order to find the blog content you are looking for.
The graphical user-interface of RSS Bandit focuses on ease of access. It allows you to hide certain panels in order to make room for the section that displays the feeds. Also, it can be customized in many ways (you can change font type, color, size, etc.)
RSS Bandit has all it takes to be an efficient feeds reader and I strongly recommend it.
