Archaeologists suggest that this game is more than 4500 years old. The object of this game is to enter all your pegs into the board, move the pegs around the board and then out of the board. The pegs enter the board from the middle square on one side, then move down the side, up the middle column, then down the same side and then leave the board. The center column is shared by the two players and is the war zone, when a piece lands on a square occupied by pieces of the opponent, those pieces are knocked off and must start again. The number of steps a piece can move is determined by throwing a four sided throwing stick. A piece can enter the board with any throw. When a piece enters a rosette square, that piece is save and cannot be captured by opponent pieces, the player can also throw again. An exact throw is needed to leave the board. The player who first have all his pieces left the board wins.
