Robo 3T is an open-source MongoDB management utility that works on macOS systems. Its scope is to help engineers and professionals to complete their daily tasks more efficiently and easier.

The installment is easy to complete and can be done with only a few mouse clicks. Once you've entered the application, you are welcomed by a simple GUI, comprised of a few basic menu tabs, all wrapped in a standard grey theme color. The navigation through the menu is quite intuitive and the learning curve is average.

When it comes to its features, Robot 3T provides real autocompletion by executing the code in an internal JavaScript VM. Next, every operation performed on MongoDB is done asynchronously, which makes the app to feel light and snappy.

Furthermore, Robo 3T supports syntax highlighting and can execute an entire query or just a segment of selected code.

What's also noticeable is that you can work on multiple MongoDB shells, fully isolated one from each other.

All in all, Robot 3T is a comprehensive software tool, mostly used by professionals, that provides an easy way to handle databases. However, sometimes loading is a bit slow and advanced queries are difficult to make.
