Robo 3T is a management tool that lets individuals to browse documents from MongoDB and create new ones, edit them, or validate JSON documents. It's recommended to be used by users who are familiar with MongoDB, because of its complex features and high learning curve.

Its GUI does not impress, but it's well-optimized and provides great stability and responsiveness. The toolbar icons are a bit too small and the menu, in general, lacks a bit of color.

About its capabilities. Robot 3T has a built-in editor that includes a JSON validator and can be used to insert or edit a document. The JSON validator checks the code for errors, while syntax highlighting and code completion options help the end-user to better visualize the code and improve the efficiency.

Furthermore, all operations executed on MongoDB are done asynchronously and don't block the main application thread.

The moment you have a MongoDB server running, you can set up a new connection, thus enabling access to the target server and browse the documents stored in the database.

In summary, Robo 3T is a solid software for performing MongoDB maintenance. There aren't major bugs, but it's a bit hard to make advanced queries and it loads the data too slow.
