Ribbit is an entertaining educational game for kids under 5 years old where the objective is to match geometrical shapes. The app brings you an intuitive interface, offers you 40 images to use in your puzzles, and plays a nice background music while you're completing the challenges.
You can choose one of the five collections of pictures portraying animals and insects. These images will be hidden underneath the empty geometrical shapes and your goal is to drag and drop all matching pieces over the concealed images.
The app lets you know if you mismatch the geometrical shapes without resetting the puzzle. Hence, you can make as many gameplay mistakes as possible without restarting the level.
Since this app was developed for children I think it would be more suitable to play a nice kids song after completing a puzzle rather than some loud applause. Even when you disable sound effects, the app still plays these irritating applause noises.
However, Ribbit is a fun and helpful game for children. Plus, you don't have to pay to use it on your Mac. Hence, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't try it on your computer.
Start alone and confused in a dangerous place, and go on to carve out a piece of the world for yourself.
