RetroPlayer is a free Mac application that was designed with the sole purpose of helping you listen to your favorite music by simulating an actual record player.
RetroPlayer allows you to load any song that you might have stored on your system, one at a time. If you want to quickly jump to any position, all you have to do is to move the tone arm to any desired location. Pausing and resuming the currently loaded audio file is done with just a click of a mouse (click on the button located at the bottom-left side of the interface).
RetroPlayer provides you with the possibility to easily modify volume settings (for music and effects) as well as several record player settings like its distortion, noise and skip level. Other than that, this application comes with a simple and minimalistic interface that mimics the appearance and functionality of an actual record player. The absence of additional menus or complicated settings keeps the job of listening to your music as easy as possible.
All in all, if you are looking for a very easy to use Mac application that allows you to listen to your favorite songs just as if you were using a classical record player, then RetroPlayer is a good choice.
