Redrum is a creepy adventure game mainly intended for adults. In this game, you are a detective who must save Rose from an evil doctor and use her psychic powers (she can see dead people) to solve a series of crimes. The game is a great combination of puzzles and hidden-object games that take place as you discover things.

The game offers a great variety of hidden object styles that include the basic one, in which you are given a list of items to search in a specific crime scene; in others you are given the silhouettes of the objects to find; and also you have to find the same object in a scene (like the one in which you must look for germs). You start the game with only one hint, but you can collect more along the game by finding complete roses of different colors hidden in all the scenes. As regards the puzzles, they include spot-the-differences games, sliding puzzles, matching games, jigsaw puzzles, among many others.

The game includes two modes, a relaxed mode, in which the game is untimed and there are no penalties, and a normal mode, in which the game is timed and there are penalties for incorrect clicks.

As for the graphics, they are very detailed and realistic, featuring creepy scenes and cutscenes that are not for everyone, and which certainly add up to create the perfect atmosphere. Some parts can be skipped, but you may lose important details of the story, which makes the game interesting and addictive.

The game is not really challenging, but it has an interesting story and features varied and well-done games that will keep you playing for quite a long time.
