Red Storm Survival is a very simple action game in which you must kill enemy robots. You are a big robot, but you are one of the good ones and your mission in every level is to destroy the enemy robots as fast as possible. You will find that there are multiple types of robots, and some are stronger than others. You will also have different types of weapons to choose from. Moreover, with the points you get in every level, you can upgrade your weapons or buy new ones.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't offer a help menu and even the controls are not shown, so it took me some time to figure out what to do and how to do it. The robot is moved with the arrow keys and you can specify certain keyboard keys for the the weapons. The levels include bombs and other explosives that you can use to kill more robots at the same time. You should take advantage of this because your ammo is limited. What you should do is attract the enemy robots to the mines and blow them off. Sadly, the game only includes one mode and one difficulty level. It features simple but attractive graphics, simple sounds, and suitable but repetitive music.
In short, if you are looking for a simple but enjoyable free game to pass the time, Red Storm Survival may work for you.
