Red Crucible 2 is a free First Person Shooter (FPS) game for Mac which allows you to compete with up to 26 friends or players be using some of the world's deadliest modern weapons and vehicles.
Red Crucible 2 allows you to play in seven different scenarios using infantry, military vehicles, and air combat. You can boost your army by making in-app purchases or alternatively, use the honor points you earn to unlock additional weapons and gears.
There are a variety of different Game Modes: Free For All, Last Man Standing, Team Deathmatch, Attack & Defend and Demolition. However, there is no Campaign mode which is something that FPS fans will miss. In addition, enjoyment of the game is limited by how many people are actually playing it at any one time. If there are few players, you'll spend a long time just looking for an enemy.
Red Crucible 2 is nevertheless an excellent free Mac FPS for beginners.
