Recover PDF Password is supposed to help you out when you forget the password that you have set to one of your PDF documents. It should be fast and effective, but as far as I can tell it has a big problem in the fact that you need a very restrictive search in order for it to actually find your password.
Although the application allows you to use a dictionary attack as well as a customizable brute force attack, I could only get it to find my password (which was "test") by restricting the search to four characters and to only lowercase Latin letters.
There was one thing that I actually liked about the application: the fact that it keeps a history with all the passwords that it has recovered. I'm pretty sure that if you are like me, and forget your password once, its fairly certain that you will forget it again, so instead of restarting the entire recovery process you can simply check the history list and copy/paste it from there.
All in all, the demo version of Recover PDF Password failed to convince me that the program is worth spending my hard earned money, because there is no guarantee that it will actually recover a password for which I don't have any clues.
