Standard PC backup and recovery tools work by simply taking a snapshot of the PC's entire disk. Unfortunately, restoring a snapshot like this results in the loss of personal documents created or altered since the snapshot was taken. At the same time, making a snapshot like this requires a significant amount of storage space to facilitate storing all those personal documents. With RecImg Manager, only the operating system and installed software are stored in the image, meaning all documents are left intact.
