Recherche is an all-in-one tool for researchers (journalists, writers, students, authors, etc.) that is easy to use, secure, and fast. Your data is securely encrypted, and you can password-protect it and store and run it from a thumb drive (which can be protected with True Crypt, for example). Features include: enhanced WebKit (for fast performance), word character count, export and print options, auto-save, bookmark and note features for each project, fullscreen mode, and boilerplates for recurring tasks. The demo version has also been improved.
