RAIDar is used to discover ReadyNAS devices on the network and start the ReadyNAS web-based configuration utility.

Ensure that each of the following conditions is met: all software firewalls are turned off or disabled; the computer on which RAIDar is installed is on the same subnet as the ReadyNAS; the UDP ports on the routers are not blocked.
