Quit All prompts users to close opened applications with the exception of a few native system utilities. This tool is ideal for times when you may quickly want to clear the screen as well as memory from unnecessary windows and start working on a new task.
When executed, Quit All only displays a confirmation dialog, with no other preferences or settings available. Although designed to speed up the process of closing applications, the utility includes no automation feature, like running at login, in the menu bar or being triggered by a hotkey.
While testing Quit All, I opened multiple applications (iTunes, Finder, Chrome browser); running Quit All automatically closed them with the exception of the Finder window. A similar behavior applies to Automator as well as other system applications.
The utility functions just as intended; however this is not enough to make it any more appealing. There are no options for filtering the applications that automatically close on confirmation or the list of the utilities that it does not not close for that matter.
