This program comes as an alternative to using your default browser for checking the latest Vine uploads. The application lives on your Menu Bar from where you can watch the newest 6-second clips and share your favorite videos via Facebook or Twitter accounts.
App for Vine - Pro - Menu Tab brings a user-friendly interface that looks similar to Vine homepage. You can watch the latest or the most popular video uploads, use the built-in search tool to find a certain user or clip, and check the Vine clips from a certain category (for example, cat clips).
An advantage is that you can define a global hotkey for immediately revealing the main window of the app. Plus, you can choose at which interval of time to refresh the video list.
The one thing that didn't work in my testing was the log in with Twitter account option. I restarted the app, entered the credentials, and it still didn't work.
Nevertheless, you should buy this app if the aforementioned disadvantage doesn't mean much to you. The program gives you access to the newest Vine video uploads, doesn't slow down the performance of your Mac while running on your Menu Bar, and comes with a fair price.
