Quicker Picker is a Mac application that comes in handy to graphic designers who wish to easily identify color codes on their computers. The program doesn't require much experience in graphic design, even an average computer user can get the color code he or she needs.
The first time you will launch the utility on your Mac, you'll see a new icon in your Menu Bar. If you click it, a window will appear on your screen showing the current location of your mouse cursor and the code for the color under your pointer. You can identify any shade within your desktop and save its correspondent code to your clipboard.
An important advantage is the fact that the application supports a wide variety of color code formats (HEX, RGB, HEX2, CMYK, etc.). You can choose the preferred one from the Preferences menu.
The program also lets you define a global hotkey for immediately copying obtained color codes to your clipboard.
Other than that, not much more can be said about Quicker Picker. It does an incredible job identifying color codes, doesn't slow down the performance of your Mac while running on your Menu Bar and is very simple to use.
Hence, you should definitely try this free program if you're looking for an efficient and simple color code picking utility.
