QPcolorsoft 501 2.0.1

QPcolorsoft 501 is used together with the high quality color target card QPcard 201.QPcolorsoft runs on Windows and Mac OS X platforms. The color correction procedure is very simple. Set the white balance on the camera to a pre-set selection or use custom white balance setting. Auto white balance must NOT be used. Take a picture of QPcard 201 and a picture of the subject in the same light. First open the picture of the card in QPcolorsoft. Mark the card with the marking tool. Create a color correction profile by clicking a button. Correct colors in the picture by clicking a second button. Save the profile. Now open the picture of the chosen subject. Apply the saved profile to the picture and correct the colors by clicking a button. QPcolorsoft 501 does not affect contrast or lightness of a picture. The only thing the software takes care of is the color balance of each pixel of the picture.
