PureRadio is a program that lets you tune in to many radio stations. These stations broadcast their programs through the Internet, and you can listen to them by using your browser. These radio stations can then be tuned in even if you are very far from them, even on the other side of the world. Of course, you will not need any other equipment, except for your regular computer and an Internet connection, to enjoy them.
PureRadio has a built-in database that will let you listen to worldwide radio stations, a database that you can update whenever you want. You can then search into the playlist for radios in a given country, or those that play a certain type of music.
The program allows you to assign a button to your top six stations. The interface will let you navigate through them, with buttons that will make it easy for you to change from one station to the next. Besides, you will find the usual play, stop, volume up or volume down controls. You will be able to record the sound coming from those stations that do not use the Real format to stream their content, and save the recordings into WMA files in your hard disk.
