This app is a special edition of the PuppetShow: Destiny Undone game. By installing it on your Mac, you gain access to the storyline and challenges from the aforementioned game plus an additional chapter, a very helpful strategy guide, the concept art files, and many others.
Your objective is to find the Master of Puppets, the father of a scared little girl that seeks for your help. You will explore the surroundings of the Joyville town and look for any clues regarding the disappearance of the Master.
Personally, I really like the fact that the app doesn't offer you just hidden object mini-games. Instead, you will also need to complete challenges that involve riddles and arranging objects in a certain order (for instance, move train lines in such way all trains reach their destination).
Another good thing is that you can always use the built-in strategy guide. This tool comes in handy if you're unsure how to proceed with your investigation or think you missed a clue on a previous location.
The only aspect I didn't like while testing the game was that I had to restart the app in order to apply display settings changes (toggle fullscreen or windowed mode).
Other than that, I really enjoyed playing this puzzle game. The app offers various types of challenges, brings a fascinating and intriguing plot, and comes with a fair cost.
