PROMT Translation Agent is a simple, useful and free program that will let you translate any text to anf from the following languages: English, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian. All you need to do is copy or type the text you want to translate, select the languages, and press the translate button.
The application has an easy-to-use interface similar to Office 2007. Here you'll see a list of the available languages. Once you have selected the languages, you can start typing the text you want to translate. Or if you already have it in another application, you can copy-paste it using the clipboard. After you press the translate button, the program will connect to the server and will translate your text in just a couple of seconds.
One interesting feature of this application is that you can select the topic of the source text from the following categories: automobile, banking, business, Internet, logistics, software, sport, and travel. With this feature, your translation will be more accurate.
Another cool feature is that you can tick an option, and all the translations will be displayed with variants or synonyms, and therefore, you can change these words in order to apply the best meaning to your translation. Besides, the program is also able to transliterate unknown words in your texts.
The program will let you translate only 2000 characters at a time, but its features make it an interesting option if you want to translate your texts online.
