Project Magellan is a high-speed space "shoot-em-up". Weaponry includes tracking missiles, spread shots, star bursts, energy torpedoes, and particle lasers, each with 9 levels of upgrades.

The game’s ten levels are formatted on a two-player simultaneous play system that encourages cooperative game playing.
