PrivacyDr. is a software solution intended to preserve your privacy and secure your identity. In this respect, the utility can erase tracks of not only Internet browsing but also offline computer activities. Fortunately, the application supports examining various areas in a single operation so you do not need to run various separate scans. Once the results are available, you receive a complete report of the current PC status.

It is good that this utility can clean practically all traces left by such offline operations as playing media contents, opening files and running applications. However, the program is most useful in preserving privacy related to Internet browsing and instant messaging. In this regard, it can clean all Internet history and remove all auto completed form fields in such popular browsers as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Unfortunately, other widely used browsers, like Opera and Safari, are not supported. One of the greatest advantages of this utility is that it allows choosing what to keep or clean. There is even sandbox mode, which is intended to automatically erase evidences of your visiting specific sites. Also, it can modify your Internet history and make it look authentic. Finally, you can schedule regular cleanups without user intervention.

All in all, PrivacyDr. seems to be effective in finding digital footprints. However, it is a misfortune that the trial version does not really allow verifying its efficacy. On top of that, the full version has, in my opinion, an excessive price, considering that other tools can also protect your privacy at a much lower cost.
