PREY 1.34

Prey is a first-person shooter video game developed by Human Head Studios and produced by 3D Realms. In this game, we will take control of a Cherokee called Domasi Tawodi to fight a number of alien races. The game will include innovative styles of gameplay and some new elements as "Wall Walking" which is literally the ability to walk on walls and "Spirit Walking" meaning the possibility of leaving your physical body and control the spirit,. Another interesting feature that emphasizes the search for innovation is the capability to manipulate gravity. All this is possible thanks to the use of a modified version of id Tech 4 which enables us to use portals and variable gravity in the environments creation.

The story:

This is a serious, dark story based on authentic Cherokees myths. It explores such themes as sacrifice, love and responsibility, and the story plunges fully into an emotional yet unexplored territories in similar games.

After discovering a unique ancestral power in himself, the character must save his Cherokee people and the world from the alien threat to come. He is at a point in his life where he is disenchanted: he finds no sense in anything. He also hopes that his girlfriend is leaving with him, to start a new life somewhere else, while renouncing his nature, his roots and his culture. Those, once the game started, will save his life. His grandfather never gets tired of repeating that he will commit a big mistake by abandoning his place, his culture, and his tradition. He knows that night he will see that everything he told him will take shape.
