Loading the photo you wish to edit is done either by drag-and-drop or by browsing from within the app. A large preview gives you the chance to inspect the image in its smallest details so you can see what needs to be enhanced. The tool comes with basic editing options, such as rotating, flipping, and cropping. In addition, it allows you to straighten the image angle and adjust saturation, brightness, contrast, exposure, and hue. Sharpening luminance and reducing photo noise are also supported. In addition, you can adjust temperature, tint, and tilt. However, the tool's major asset resides in the special effects, which are really remarkable. Besides the classic vignette and sepia tones, you find a series of effects not very often met, but with a great impact on the processed images. Refined effects like Chrome, fade, instant, mono, noir, process, tonal, and transfer give your photos an outstanding look. The adjustments you make can be conveniently saved as presets for further use with other occasions.

To conclude, Poto Editor comes with great image editing features, giving you the chance you emphasize details in your photos that the camera missed or wasn't able to capture. Personally, I would have liked the features to be organized into groups so you wouldn't have to drag the vertical slider all the time in search for the desired editing option. Also, I consider that the preview would be of a greater help if split in two for easily comparing the original with the altered image.
