Postcard Maker is a postcard designer for Windows. The application can make both postcards and e-cards, and both modes share the same interface. There are several built-in templates that you can choose from on the right of the application's window.
The first step is to select a template and add text. When you write something you can choose among your system fonts and change the text's color and size. You can also position the text anywhere inside the postcard. For a complete postcard, you need to do both a Front and a Back page. If you don't like the templates for the postcards, you can also make use of the importing capabilities, which will allow you to import a picture and use it as a background. Not any picture will do, since you need space to write. I like the fact that Postcard Maker allows you to use your webcam to grab a photo. I can see how dads away from their children would use this feature. For the regular postcards, you can also rotate the image, crop it and zoom in or out.
Once you are done creating your postcard, you get to see a full-size preview and you can have it sent to someone's physical address. I don't know what the cost would be for that. But in the instructions it says that after a postcard is sent, you get to download it and print it. If you want, though, you can send free e-cards.
