Songs can be transferred while their tags, play counts and ratings are preserved. Playlists can also be transferred and duplicates are recognized and avoided in the process. Photos can be transferred either individually or by selecting entire albums. Thumbnail preview is available. Other data can also be copied to one's Mac, such as the phone address book, call history, sms messages, notes or voice mail. These pieces of data are organized in a table that eases the process of looking through and accessing them. Contacts can be exported individually, in groups or all of them in batch. The calendar along with its associated "to-do" lists can be transferred to the MacBook. For ease of data transfer, an automatic transfer button is available.
To conclude, Phone to Mac is a convenient application when in need to transfer data from iPhone, iPod or iPad to MacBook.
