Pocogese is a remote service invocation concept used in Adobe Flex applications. It is based on the idea that most services either read or manipulate resources. Reading is done by sending GET requests with selections, which do not change the resource. Selections return a single resource or a list of resources based on certain criteria. Manipulation is done by sending POST requests with commands, which change the state of one or multiple resources.
