Pocket Tanks Deluxe is a war game that doesn´t require high tech graphics or complicated stories to make us have a nice time playing it.
To start this review I'd like to quote the developer: "Writing games that are good clean fun... high quality, family approved games that you won't be afraid to show to your non-computer buddies. C64/Amiga style games for the next generation." This is really the essence of the game. It´s a war game, but it´s not violent, that's why its suitable for all ages. Controls are so easy that you don't have to be a full time gamer to get used to this game.
Pocket Tanks Deluxe is a simple game, there are two tanks, one controlled by us, the other one is controlled either by the computer or by another player. The aim of the game is to hit the other tank the most before all the weapons are used. There are 30 different weapons in the shareware edition, but if you buy de Deluxe version there will be another 30 more weapons available for playing. I have not been able to know what are the 30 first weapons for, but maybe after some weeks of gaming you'll be thinking about buying deluxe version.
