Pocket Mini Golf characters are back, but the second version of this game has two new characters in addition to the old ones, with 3 brand new golf courses. You will find the usual hazards of water, sand-trap and rough grass. The game now supports 6 players with different skills and abilities. It has good quality VGA graphics with a new graphics engine and some new sound effects.
5 languages are supported along with English. You are able to play in environments like deserts, castles, jungles, mountains and beaches. There are 4 types of games which can be played according to the standard rules or against the clock, with 3 types of difficulty settings.
The courses are interesting to play in different weather conditions. There are also certain secret holes and things to avoid like a cactus, bushes, rocks and post-box to name a few. An Instant replay and zooming in and out functions helped me in the game play. You can also adjust the view to portrait or landscape at any time. Winning awards at the end of a course was quite fulfilling. There are 9 awards to be won per course in the bronze, silver and gold categories.
