True to its name, the Plants vs. Zombies: GW2 stream is a utility or companion app for players of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Developed by Legaapp, this free app houses a bunch of guide videos that will walk you through the game.
Plants vs. Zombies: GW2 stream comes with a pretty straightforward user interface. As soon as you launch the app, you’ll immediately see the selection of videos available. There are no thumbnail previews, so you have to click them one by one to see what aspect of Garden Warfare they’re discussing.
Since it deals directly with videos, the app requires you to have the YouTube app installed—or else, it simply won’t work. At the same time, some videos lead to dead websites when clicked, and there are lots of pop-out ads that appear when you least expect them.
Overall, Plants vs. Zombies: GW2 stream quite fails in serving its intended purpose. While it does offer a handful of guide videos, some of the links lead to dead ends instead. Plus, it’s full of rather invasive ads that can render the user experience bothersome.
