PlaneShift is a MMORPG (Massive(ly) multiplayer online role-playing game) video game with an environment based on fantasy, full of dialogs, scripts, and 3D graphics. The game has a special emphasis on adventures and on the free personality development of each player.

PlaneShift is a roleplay game that will let you explore its virtual world and interact with characters controlled by the server and the rest of the players around the world. Within this virtual world called Yliakum, you will find twelve races divided into humans, dwarfs, and other medieval creatures.

Something interesting of this game, is that, before entering its virtual world, you will have to create a character, as well as choosing a race, and condition (warrior, villager, sorcerer, etc.). You will also have to select your date of birth, number of children, your profession, etc. All those characteristics are very important for your future progress on the adventure.

The main goal of this game is to explore the subterranean city of Yliakum, interacting with other players, creating clans, learning magic spells that will help you fight against dangerous creatures, etc. Yliakum world is constantly changing on its economic and political level, therefore the challenges you will face could be many.
