Pixa is a utility that provides you with an easy way to organize your photo collection. The program works with a wide variety of image formats, helps you rename and convert pictures, automatically tags your photos, and lets you back up your images to your Cloud service account.
This application might come in handy if you're dealing with a large photo collection and wish to easily organize it based on certain characteristics, like location, event, etc. You can also use this program to share pictures via email or on various image sharing websites.
Furthermore, Pixa comes with an integrated screenshot tool. You can use this utility to capture a window from your desktop, a certain area or your entire screen. The snapshot is automatically saved as a PNG file and imported in Pixa's library.
Unfortunately, the built-in image converter and filename editor feature minimum output settings. The latter doesn't provide you with advanced renaming options (for example, add prefix to..., change x with y, etc.) while the converter lets you export your images to only 3 formats (JPG, PNG or the original format).
Still, the main objective of this application is to offer you a quick solution for cataloging your images. So, it isn't a big deal, especially if you don't plan on using the aforementioned tools often.
