In my opinion, Pipe Flow Expert can also be used by engineering students as a tool that simulates various hydraulics systems. The program offers various pipe system examples which they can use for a better understanding of this complex engineering area. For example, a water cooling system works properly only at specific flow rates and pressure levels. The user is able to calculate these parameters with just one button click.
The graphical user-interface of Pipe Flow Expert is well organized, allowing the users to add or remove panels and toolbars with ease. Also, when it comes to measurement units, this application is able to easily convert metric units to imperial ones and vice-versa.
It should be mentioned that Pipe Flow Expert comes at a quite high price, but in my opinion, it is worth the money.
